A piece of the south at home
The genuine olive tree (Olea europaea) is raised from cuttings at a nursery in Apulia and grown in a pot for several years. It is therefore used to life in a container and keeps growing reliably after delivery.
Location and care
- Full sun and warm, sheltered from wind
- Water moderately, avoid waterlogging
- Feed every four weeks from March to September
- Hardy to approx. −10 °C; in a pot it is better overwintered in a bright, cool place
